Healthy Minds Initiative respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Data. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
Personal Data you provide
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and message. A volunteer application may include your name, email, how you heard about us, motivation, languages, residence, expertise, student status, skills, platforms, credentials, optional CV, and additional comments.
Online donations are temporarily unavailable while we move to a new donation system. This policy will be updated before online giving resumes.

Our hosting and security services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, date and time, and diagnostic information needed to deliver and protect the site.
How we use your Personal Data
We will only use your Personal Data when the law allows us to, including:
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To review and manage volunteer applications.

- Where necessary for our legitimate interests and where your rights do not override those interests.
Sharing of your Personal Data
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us host the site, store submissions, communicate with you, or operate our programs. They may use it only to provide those services and must protect it appropriately. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your Personal Data.
Keeping your Personal Data secure
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to prevent Personal Data from being accidentally lost, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorization. Access is limited to people and providers with a legitimate need.
Retention periods
We retain Personal Data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, reporting, and program administration requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
